The Morrey Seaman School of Music, donated by his son, Atty. Dennis Seaman from Cleveland, Ohio, is already operating in the beautiful new building, providing music instruction to hundreds of students.

The Music Academy began in 1980 with a caravan, seven children, an accordion, a piano, and a teacher who lived in Kedumim. When the caravan was needed to house a new Kedumim family, lessons were held in the homes of students' in the teacher's home, or at the school. With the move to the present site, enrollment tripled, music teachers came from as far as Tel Aviv, music theory was taught and graduating concerts were held.
Today the Academy has approximately 250 students, from kindergarten age to adults. Some 15 instruments are taught, and the Academy is proud to have a faculty of 19 experienced and accredited teachers, many of them Russian immigrants.
The Academy has a yearly series of student concerts. Musical evenings presented by a wide range of outstanding musical groups are hosted by the Academy for the local community. And the student body travels together to symphonies and concerts in Tel Aviv. The Academy student band meets weekly and regularly performs at local events. In addition, an adult band from the community practices every week at the Academy. There is rarely a week night when musical melodies cannot be heard coming from the windows of the Academy, making it a lively and popular meeting place and a cultural center for the Kedumim settlement.
